Rev. Simon Ngugi Kamande joined PCEA Evergreen Parish in January, 2016.
He has a great wealth of experience in liturgical matters and has served in the PCEA church performing various clerical duties for over 20 years at several Presbyteries and Parishes all over the country.
Rev. Kamande is married to Dr. Lucy Ngugi and they are blessed with 3 children.
Under his guidance, the PCEA Evergreen Parish has seen a lot of growth and developement and it is currently the fastest growing Parish in the Milimani North Presbytery- so far with two congregations: The PCEA Evergreen (Runda) and the PCEA Beulah along the Northern Bypass.
The continued growth of of the church necessitated the ordination of 5 more elders to make a total of 24 elders.
Rev. Kamande is passionate about the Youth and has since introduced Mashujaa Group to curb Alcohol and Drug Abuse in the area. This project has been running for the last 2 years and has helped hundreds of youths stop alcohol abuse.
He has also been involved in other projects such as Developing a Roadmap for the upcoming Sanctuary, ensuring various congregations get Holy Communion on various Sundays of the month and leading the church workers through Morning Devotion Service everyday from 7.am - 8.am.
